2011 NFL Draft: Will Minnesota Vikings Stop the Bleeding for Da'Quan Bowers

At one point this offseason, many mock draft gurus had Da'Quan Bowers pegged as the No. 1 overall pick.  However, he has had injury concerns and was unable to work out at the NFL Combine, and had a poor showing at his pro day.

Bowers still has the talent and skills to be a premier pass rusher in the NFL, and he should not plummet as far as some may think.

Drafting a player that has No. 1 potential at pick No. 12 is an absolute steal for a Minnesota Vikings team that will be looking to replace Ray Edwards this offseason.

The Vikings do need a quarterback as well, but they seem content pursuing Donovan McNabb once the lockout is lifted.
